Taylor, believe it or not the two felt completely different behind the wheel. The Jeep was “floaty” in corners, like it had substantially more ground clearance, a softer suspension and a taller COG. The Durango was more planted and much better on pavement than the Jeep. Inside, the Durango also felt quite a bit bigger than the Jeep, although it probably isn’t.

Both vehicles are built on the Mercedes M Class platform, and with Chrysler’s recent financial woes it’s no mystery why they said “good enough” on the styling.

I’m not sure what that is exactly but the only thing that looks like a Dodge is the cross-hair grill.

Are they too lazy to actually make a Durango instead of rebadging a Grand Cherokee or did the design dollars get taken away?
