There are times when you have to question the way in which automotive manufacturers go about releasing new vehicles. Take the new 2011 Dodge Charger for example, a car that is one of the most anticipated automobiles of 2011. For months now people have been speculating as to the styling changes of the cars exterior but instead of the manufacturer releasing pictures we must be content with crappy cell phone spy pics and now, a lousy dimly lit video at a police convention. My question is why? Why would Chrysler take this approach for a vehicle that is so eagerly anticipated.
Even though this video is total crap it still gives us a little better insight as to the full range of new styling queues that the 2011 Dodge Charger possesses. Hood and door call outs are very reminiscent of those found on Chargers from 1968-1970, as are the stylized rear taillights.
Overall the Charger seems to be a very nice automobile with updated styling that should put a more of a smile on the faces of Mopar purists than the original 2005 model. One thing we all know is that Chrysler guys are very finicky, so my advice to Dodge would simply be to please RELEASE SOME REAL PRESS SHOTS!!
