matrix has got some really good features as compared to other casr in this genre.
The horsepower is almost ok at 132 hp taking into consideration the engine.
the best part is the mileage which ranges from 26 to 32, very good.
I just love the cars who are eco friendly and economically great on fuel.
The towing capacity should have increased more from 1500 lbs. that would have made it good.
But overall i like this car.

I don't believe the comments above. after my truck was totaled by an idiot turning left in front of me, i had to make a fairly quick decision, I rented abreakl mazda 5 w/ auto that was boring and slugish and loud road noise. I found the fit to be mechanical and boring and was looking at a scion when the dealer pointed me to the 2010 matrix s. the car had an auto tranny so was a bit slugish but the car felt solid and fun to drive. I bought the s with a performance package and 5 sp manual and after several hours of hoping around was totally hooked,

you are right about interior plastic... not toyota standards,

fast, excellent gear spacing, power that is consistant from 2500 rpm to (for now 5K until breakin), definite zoom factor that reminds me of the old mazda rx2. tight and predictable handleing.

all i can say is wow! would highly reccomend to anyone who wants a fun to drive performer with excellent city manors,
