2010 Porsche Panamera Spied Nude In San Francisco

Spy shot of the 2010 Porsche Panamera

Thanks to a shutter-happy Flickr user and the loyal readership of Jalopnik, clear photos have surfaced of the upcoming four-door Porsche Panamera cruising the streets of San Francisco completely in the buff. Unfortunately, the production version of Porsche’s first 4-door offering bear a striking resemblance to both the concept sketches and spy photos revealed months ago – which means the 2010 Panamera is still a dead ringer for the Ambiguously Gay Duo-Mobile.

Despite its questionable design aesthetics the new Porsche Panamera still promises to deliver performance worthy of vehicle bearing the Porsche badge, with a 4.8L naturally-aspirate V8 engine expected to produce 400-hp and a 4.5s 0-60 mph track time. Where the Panamera wades into murky waters is with its $127,000 price tag – a little steep considering the 4-door Dodge Charger SRT-8 produces 405-hp for around $40k (yeah, I know, “You can’t compare those two, they’re like apples and oranges!” – save it, I’m not interested).

Ultimately, the 2010 Porsche Panamera is the perfect vehicle for buyers who simply loved the Porsche Cayenne, but it strikes a slightly sour note with the rest of us.
