Anxiously awaiting the debut of the all-new 2010 Kia Sorento? Yeah, us neither, but we’ve got some exclusive photos anyway. While not necessarily as aesthetically offensive as was, say, the Pontiac Aztek, the 2010 Sorento featured in the photos leaked on the web today still leaves us feeling decidedly “Meh.” Expected to be offered with the same 170-horsepower 2.4L I4 and 260-horsepower 3.8L V6 engine options offered on current models, the changes to the new Sorento are largely structural and do little to make the mid-size SUV more appealing. Claimed by Kia fanboys (yes, apparently they do exist) to be loosely based on the BMW X3, the 2010 Sorento features several “sporty” design elements including a redesigned, slightly more aggressive front fascia.

Tentatively scheduled to make its official debut in April at the 2009 New York Auto Show, the 2010 Kia Sorento is expected to hit North American dealer lots a few months thereafter in summer 2009.
