2010 Jaguar XFR Leaked Ahead Of Detroit Auto Show Unveiling

Possibly one of the juiciest pre-show leaks yet, surprisingly enterprising sources within 4wheelsnews managed to get their hands on official production images of the new 2010 Jaguar XFR, scheduled for official debut next week at the 2009 NAIAS. Although we do have a pretty impressive image gallery, we don’t have any hard specs on the new kitty aside from what was shared with us by 4WheelsNews. Accordingly, the new XFR received quite a performance boost for 2010 and is now powered by a supercharged 5.0L V8 capable of producing 510 HP and 460 lb-ft (625 Nm) of torque. Speed is electronically limited to 155mph (250 km/h), which you might reach quicker than you think – Jaguar asserts the 2010 XFR is capable of sprinting from 0-60mph in a healthy 4.7 seconds, and 0-100mph in a mere 4.9s. To complement the new kitty’s claws (sorry, best we could do, it’s Friday), Jaguar outfitted the XFR with an aggressive new body kit, replete with a new front bumper, new hood-mounted twin air ducts, new front fenders, side sills, rear bootlid spoiler and a new rear bumper with an integrated 4-pipe exhaust system.

Undeniably impressive, we’ll wait until we can get some confirmed data before we laud the new XFR for its technological achievements. Until then, enjoy some delicious British eye candy, compliments of Tata Motors.

0-60 in 4.7 and 0-100 in 4.9? That’s not an acceleration curve, that’s a wall! (I’m guessing we got the kph and mph data mixed on the last figure? ;)

First impressions – I like it! It has a little chrome bling without it being too showy.

CTS-V for me, but I’m a bit biased.
