Today Ford announced the launch of their newest sweepstakes, the “We Race. You Win” contest, which will allow one lucky fan (and a guest) to win an all-expenses paid trip to Ford Championship Weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway each time a Ford Racing driver wins a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series points race in 2009. During the race weekend, one of those fans will be selected to receive the grand prize: a brand-new 2010 Ford Fusion. “With our new NASCAR Fusion debuting on track this season, we wanted to do something special for race fans that will reward them every time one of our drivers wins,” said Greg Scott, Ford Fusion marketing manager. “The inspiration for Ford’s NASCAR race car, the 2010 Fusion, is destined to be a hit in the marketplace, not just because of its bold design and the way it drives, but also because of its award-winning reliability and safety features.”

“And we’re pleased that the 2010 Fusion Hybrid is a strong part of our lineup this year after making its debut as the first hybrid car in NASCAR history to lead the field to the green flag at Homestead last November.” continued Scott. “The Fusion Hybrid is already the most fuel efficient mid-size sedan in America, with 41 mpg in the city and over 700 miles on one tank of gas.”

Only one fan will be handed the keys to a brand new Fusion, but Ford isn’t leaving the runners-up high and dry. All of the “Weekend at Homestead-Miami” winners will receive a trip for two to Ford Championship Weekend, including air, hotel, rental car, tickets to all three races, and a VIP visit with Ford drivers at the race track – and some pretty sweet Ford schwag.
