Because of steel restrictions it had to be aeroplane aluminium and the green paint was leftover from aeroplane industry as well. So the Defender was actually born 60 years ago! This is what I've done and my totally rebuilt 1985 300TDi Defender 110 County 5-door will be ready for shipping early next year from Solihul UK.
