Longtime Chevrolet Blazer and Mercury Sable driver, here, finally forced to downsize for fuel efficiency as I put 35K miles a year on a vehicle. I bought a 5-speed Touring in July and absolutely love it! Comfortable! (I'm 6'3", 250) Fun to drive! 33 mpg!!! And I can fit all of my tools in rear stowage WITHOUT lowering the rear seat!

Ford and GM better start paying attention to the other guys. They could stand to learn lots of things!

Is it possible the Koreans just used the "Touring" tag the same way as BMW...to denote the 5-door version? The 328i Touring gets the same engines as the 328i coupe and sedans. It's not a "performance" option...but a body option.

Just a thought.

No wonder Hyundai is kicking ass in the marketplace. This is one particularly nice-looking station wagon. Or as the Brits would call it, shooting brake."

If memory serves, "shooting brakes" have been part of the Touring Car series over in the UK. Just to confuse the semantics of it, even more.
