>>And my all time favorite, sometimes (but not all the time) after a hard rain I have 2 to 3 inches of WATER sitting on the front passenger-side floor. Still trying to figure out where in the heck the water is coming in, somewhere behind the glove box.

Rich:

I happen to know what that was! I had the same problem...after getting my 2000 Impala LS serviced, whenever it rained hard, the passenger side floor would have 2 to 3 inches of water. Turns out when they changed the air conditioning air-filter under the windsheild base guard on the passenger side, they took out the water-venturi that guides the water out and away and never replaced it when they put it back together. The water then ran right down and into the passenger compartment!

Don't know the replacement part number, but on the exloded view of that area on the GM replacement charts, it's part 13.

One great feature that the Chevy Imapala has is its very spacious front bench seat version. It's so comfortable! I hope they keep this great option when doing any redesigns. It would also be great if they come out with a hybrid version of the Chevy Impala. Then it will really stand out!

C'mon, guys! You're far too critical, this is one great looking ride. Alright, I would change the C-pillar, it's tired. But look at that aggressively styled front end--I would say it's hands-down better-looking than the new Taurus. I see a lotta you pickin' on your old Chevy Impalas over quality glitches, but we all grew up with Chevy's. Now it's chic to buy Japanese crap, and then to scream about job loss, the vanishing American car, the demoralization of the American worker. Do you really like sending all of your hard earned pay to Japan? Didn't you take your first driving lessons in a Chevy, or kiss the first girl of your dreams in a Chevy? Try making out in the back seat of a pukey little Civic! One thing is for sure, if America was awash in teeny little Japanese cars in the 50's, there wouldn't have been a baby boom, and maybe not you.

I own a Chevy Impala 06, I really dont have problems other than been fan of Impala's. Just that every time I go see the the new Chevy Impala is almost the same i mean they only change the gear shifts, accessories, the fog lights and add more accessories, it seems that it takes more space front and back than the middle section i mean i dont mean big but you know incase for ladies to take or bring lol so it needs to be just slightly wider. In my 06 the only thing i hate does not have a small tray to pull out not a ash tray, umm like to put some coins i have to put it on the cup holder and when i need put my coke is uncomfortable.

Now about the view out side hmmm well the one is showing picture, it sorta look like a Dodge or Chrysler i think more like Chrysler i mean its okay but naaaa, probably a little bit of muscle and exotic. It looks to way simple in the picture.
