1972 Custom Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme: Moderation Is For Pussies

Even through the pain of the after-effects of last night’s drinking binge, we still managed to work ourselves into a lather over our eBay Motors Find of the Day: a 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. For some hot-rodders, there’s a point where a ride can jump the shark, and it’s usually somewhere between “Lambo doors” and “Louis Vuitton upholstery.”

We here at RideLust, however, can’t get enough of “tastefully overdone” custom jobs - and we absolutely lost our minds over this one. Its got everything we cream over: suicide doors, 12″ sub woofers, a remote-start Corvette LS-1 engine, and it’s positively drenched in Louis leather.

  1. WOW, what a piece of junk, nice motor install, NOT. Look like they had to spend less on the paint work to get the useless stereo system in,, look at the gold paint at the decklid and in the motor compartment. HACK JOB,,, oh well enjoy

  2. this is a nice car however it is missing all the small details that would of made it great…how bout power w indows, locks, trunk or seats and mirrors…the dash needed to be painted to match with the gauges being replaced with at least a tic-toc-tac ralye gauge kit from the upgraded model that year…or at least a full set of new auto guage stuff
and i can see the paint in the trunk area trim is still original gold.
to truly call this a master piece you needed to sew up all your loose ends…all this stuff is only that mch cooler if you took the time to fine tune this bitch..pretty good work though…keep trying!!!–wesss ssiide!!
