Very soon children all over the country will be embarking on their annual Easter Egg hunts. They’ll look high and low in the hopes of collecting enough of them so that they’ll gain proper bragging rights amongst their little friends. Believe it or not, but the Easter Bunny isn’t the only one that leaves Easter Eggs behind. You see automotive manufacturers have been doing this for years as well. Generally designers will incorporate a little piece of their personality into a car and hide it where only a select few individuals will find them. Some of these Easter Eggs are hidden in plain sight but are not realized until someone points them out. Others are completely buried and are picked by only those with a keen eye. This shark was done on a dare between two designers at Vauxhall. The shark, which holds absolutely no significance whatsoever, was incorporated into the cars glove box and was never removed before production.
The racing mascot for Corvette Racing, “Jake” was incorporated into the air intake of all ZR1 Corvette’s beginning in 2009.
Maybach luxury sedans come branded with the Maybach crest imprinted on their projector beam headlight lens.
On the lower right hand corner of the windshield on 2011 Jeep Wranglers you’ll notice a little Jeep quietly going up a mountain side.
Look closely at the headlights in the Ford GT and you’ll notice that they form the number 100. This represents the fact that the car was released for the company’s 100th anniversary.
On the very inside of the headlight lens on the 2007 Volkswagen Rabbit you’ll notice the company placed a small VW logo.
From the top of the door seem, through the BMW logo and down mid-way through the wheel arch you can clearly see the diagonal angle that forms the “Z” for Z4.
Porsche’s key fob for the Panamera is shaped just like the car itself… nice right!
The sun visors on the 2010 and forward Ford Mustang GT’s are shaped exactly like the cars hood.
