2012 Nissan Rogue SV FWD: RideLust Review
In celebration of his honor as the 2008 MLB World Series MVP, GM gifted a brand new 2010 Chevy Camaro RS to Phillies pitcher Cole Hamels. The Camaro, pictured above, was presented to Hamels along with his MVP trophy shortly after the Philadelphia Phillies won the World Series title Wednesday. Presumably to avoid certain destruction at the hands of insanely enthusiastic fans, Hamels’ Camaro was transported from the stadium via flatbed truck. Hamels’ stated that he intends to gift the Camaro to his wife, Survivor alum and former Playboy Playmate Heidi Strobel, who just celebrated her 30th birthday.

This is a perfect example of US auto maker stupidity. FOX never show s the car and GM only offers tight useless pictures of the car. Cole Hamels won this thing over here trust me it’s a car see it has badges and paint and stuff. Real great PR op, for GM can they do anything right. Making the Camaro in Canada is the first huge mistake it’s an American muscle car duh. made by french Canadians makes me wanna buy one…NOT
Why did they give him an RS instead of an SS?
@ Geoff – That’s what I was wondering…I mean they usually gift the MVP a ‘Vette, so if you’re going to downgrade the guy from a Corvette to a Camaro, at least make it a super performance model.
